We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the manufacturing industry located in Jackson, Michigan, United States. The role focuses on Accounting Clerk functions, which involve a range of duties such as account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and conduct account reconciliation activities to ensure all business transactions are recorded

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and timely management of all financial obligations

• Handle billing operations, including the preparation, sending, and tracking of invoices

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring the accuracy of all entered information

• Process invoices efficiently, making sure all details are accurate and up to date

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports

• Operate Oracle software for database management and data entry tasks

• Manage financial data and transactions using QuickBooks

• Use SAP for managing business operations and customer relations.

Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proven skills in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge in Billing

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in using Oracle

• Knowledge of QuickBooks

• Familiarity with SAP

• Experience in the manufacturing industry

• Working knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Proven ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
