Amazon Seller Engagement Manager in Istanbul, Turkey

Amazon’s Seller Services team is looking for a smart, customer-centric and result-oriented leader to manage the marketing strategies, help selling partners to grow their business and improve seller experience and customer experience of Amazon in Turkey. The Seller Engagement Manager’s main responsibility is to own marketing plans to drive traffic, innovative marketing programs, campaigns and promotions across various channels; such as email marketing, events, online advertising, webinars etc. This role is focused on seller engagement, analyzing and reporting results, and support business teams to execute implementation. The candidate will own reporting of key content and marketing metrics to the leadership team, partner with central marketing teams and influence senior stakeholders.

To be successful in this role the candidate will have superior communication, presentation and organizational skills. The candidate will work closely with teams including marketing, product, sales, seller education, editorial, business analysis, and other internal & external stakeholders. Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment the successful candidate will be required to work autonomously, taking responsibility for achieving business objectives. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing the marketing strategies to drive business growth and seller success

  • Grow website’s traffic and seller acquisition through executing the marketing strategy

  • Develop and optimize a comprehensive marketing strategy through Search Engine Marketing (SEM), social media ads and SEO channels by data driven decisions

  • Managing the marketing budget and improving efficacy and efficiency

  • Creating and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels to generate leads, drive experiments, and improve performance-level metrics and downstream impact

  • Managing 3rd party/agency relationship ensuring campaigns are optimized and scaled to drive performance while delivering results

  • Analyzing and improving business results, reporting to senior management and communicating closely with various internal and external stakeholders

  • Contributing to the development of tools, processes and best practices

  • Sharing learnings with global counterparts (MENA, EU, LATAM and Asia teams) to drive best practices and to identify new opportunities

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor or above in Business, Marketing or a similar field

  • 5+ years of experience in online marketing, e-commerce and/or a highly quantitative, analytical, and results-driven environment

  • Proficiency in paid search (SEM) and ads campaign management; SEO and web traffic reporting

  • Experience in digital advertising with a focus on Google ads and META ads

  • Experience in managing large scale marketing programs and writing customer-facing content

  • Strong communication, excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills

  • Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done

  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and English is a must. Arabic fluency is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree

  • High proficiency in Excel and experience in SQL for conducting analysis

  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM tools

  • Demonstrable experience as a content marketer
