This role will be responsible for Leading Project Management team in SI EA SO organization. Leading a team whom has a responsibility of in General Electrification & Automation projects with P/L responsibility, throughout the project life cycle; which includes agreeing targets and work packages with project team, integration of all systems, tracking, reporting, execution of Project / site activities, managing acceptance tests and final PAC and warranty phase process. Head of the team will be responsible for people Management, tracking milestones, overall project status/updates together with the team, reporting directly internally EA Sales Operations Management and Business Unit, as well as Global Hub Management in Headquarters. Project portfolio is not only electrification giant projects but also automation projects with a high demand customers & technology.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Track overall projects together with the team for important milestones (time, budget etc.).

  • Lead project teams/Project managers and direct subject matter experts, support functions, and third-party partners to execute customer projects and achieve project targets. Guide, support, motivate and developed team members to achieve project/organization goals.

  • Ensure compliance to standards, rules and regulations. Set necessary measures to ensure zero harm policy in environment, health and safety, set up framework to regularly check compliance of in projects and with subcontractors. Ensure that the team has zero harm culture mindset.

  • Responsible from processes to be performed effectively to meet financial and commercial aspects using/coordinating/ensuring PM@Siemens Guidelines.

  • Develops and guides project/program solution plans for complex projects or programs to guide people through the path.

  • Implements technical projects or programs for the team development, people Management and creating next generation of Siemens Project managers / leaders.

  • Resource Management, load management tracking is important and necessary as close monitor.

  • Ensure correct assignment and monitoring of the team with full resources.

  • Support preparing budgets and forecast for projects, making high planning for team for a potential project (e.g. Order Entry, Revenue, Gross Margin).

  • Identifying and financially assessing opportunities and risks, defining suitable measures for reducing risks or realizing opportunities and taking precautions for remaining risks. Supporting general risk management activities within the projects and within the team overall as a culture.

  • Overall for total projects and team performance controlling, forecasting and planning, commercial PM, risk management, accounting, compliance

  • Strong Ability to communicate / work with international teams across different countries and cultures.

  • Coordinates overall planning of projects and decides on allocation of resources.

  • Responsible for all people management activities, inclusive of mentoring, development and performance management with the aim of creating successful leaders in the organization.

  • Planning and implementation of necessary trainings for the team members and guide the team for expert career.

  • Ensures that quality standards for Project Management processes are met at all times.

  • Identification and defining of risk mitigation strategies by assessing current issues and potential risks and assist in implementing preventative/corrective measures.

  • Ensure that best practice business processes and procedures are documented and implemented in accordance with Siemens guidelines and policies.

  • Customer relations is the key for this leading position, its important to maintain constant communication to customers, outside contractors or other partners. Act as a Siemens' representative to customer during the execution stage and work in a comprehensive manner across the project and orders. Develop, maintain and enhance customer relations at required levels.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • BSc./MSc. Electrical Engineering. Supplementary business management qualification would be advantageous,

  • A minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience in a Project management and team Management , certification on specific project management role is required as PM@Siemens or PMP or IPMA,

  • Strong negotiation skills,

  • Fluent in English (German is a plus),

  • People Management including mentoring, development and performance management,

  • Experience in dealing with a diverse group of people including, levels of seniority, cultures, cross boarder exposure,

  • International experience and headquarter relationship management experience,

  • 10 years Management Experience in leading complex projects, organizations,

  • Must be strategically focused,

  • Must be willing to travel.
