  • Technical Marketing Engineer – BlackBerry Cybersecurity*

BlackBerry is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer to support the Technical Marketing team and wider Product Marketing Group. The objective for this role is to deliver insightful Technical Marketing Assets that strengthen our core solutions narrative and messaging, increasing visibility and pipeline for Cybersecurity.

WHAT IS OUR MISSION

We want to simplify the language of cybersecurity into readily consumable communications that anyone can understand, by translating the technical complexities of cybersecurity into the business risks of potential breaches and the ever-increasing threat to corporate data and endpoints.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collaborate with the wider Product Marketing Group, sales and product teams to develop technical marketing assets to support campaigns and launches across our cybersecurity portfolio including our AI/ML Endpoint protection solution - CylanceENDPOINT, CylanceMDR and UEM.  
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on product development and campaigns to determine and provide technical scope while also providing expertise and technical input.
  • Own and maintain the Competitive Intelligence function while continually reviewing our approach to develop the best assets for our field.
  • Contribute technical marketing capabilities and knowledge into our marketing campaigns and products.
  • Create demos and videos to help showcase our products and solutions across Endpoint, MDR and UEM.
  • Assist and lead where required, efficacy and performance testing of our Endpoint product working closely with our internal labs and external labs partners.
  • Own as required partnerships with third parties to deliver services including short term engagements to develop key assets.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant technical marketing experience in a high-tech company (software)
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Cybersecurity qualifications a bonus.
  • Strong marketing writing skills (content creation) with a high level of business acumen.
  • A collaborative colleague with a team-oriented attitude and effective problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong technical, analytical and interpretation skills
  • A self-starter who possesses technical and intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability that prides themselves on building strong internal and external relationships.
