Our client is looking for a IT Software Development Specialist Sr on a 11-month contract in Irving, TX.

Contract Duration: 11 Months
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
6 years of language development in a relevant and applicable language and/or business analytical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 4 years’ experience in HANA modeling and development.
Detailed knowledge of HANA performance bottlenecks (SQL Plans) and provide optimization techniques.
HANA integration skills, experience in HANA modelling and using HANA views for reporting.
Knowledge of ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) on HANA.
Minimum 4 projects implementation experience with SAP HANA Studio.
Knowledge of data warehousing, data modelling and database concepts.
Experience with SAP Business Objects will be an advantage.

Information Systems or Computer Science major.
Proven experience in interpreting user requirements, business applications design, and development of business applications.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop, maintain, test and debug software to meet generally defined requirements in a Windows client/server environment utilizing software development languages/environments such as PL/SQL, Oracle, Progress 4 GL Application Development Environment (ADE), .Net, Microsoft SQL, or other platforms.
Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding for the purpose of developing or modifying moderately complex information systems.
Prepare detailed specification from which programs will be written.
Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain programs.
Become familiar with most aspects of the application including reports, parameters, claims management, intake services, carrier/client interfaces and vendor/business partner interfaces.
Analyze user needs as required.
Assist in the design of specifications to meet end user needs.
Develop and modify software to meet the specifications outlined in data processing requests.
Develops and maintains software to meet requirements of insurance carrier and regulatory groups.
Test and debug assigned projects.
Assist in testing projects for other members of the programming staff.
Prepare documentation on new or existing software.
Investigate call escalations from the support staff.
Make the necessary corrections to data and/or software.
Assists in the professional growth of programmers.
Follow departmental pre-established standards and guidelines as they pertain to design and development.
Adhere to the goal of delivering and maintaining the highest quality of customer service to our clients.
Keep abreast of software development language revisions and technology advances.
Perform other duties as assigned.
