Citigroup Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Analyze user needs and implement application systems and programs. Perform applications systems analysis and develop applications using programming languages including Java and JavaScript. Ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Resolve problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Design and develop highly scalable distributed enterprise applications using Kafka, Java and non-relational databases that optimally process large data sets. Ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals. Use agile methodology to design, develop, test and implement solutions on time ensuring high quality. Use Python, Multi-Threading, Exception Handling, GoF Pattern Designs to propose architecture and solution-designs for projects to be implemented focusing on performance, scalability and maintenance. Use Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Spring Data to process large amounts of data in real-time by utilizing streaming techniques to calculate real-time business metrics used to publish dashboards to business stakeholders. Ensure the accuracy and quality of data used in analysis by performing in-line data quality analysis. Use Microservices, and Distributed Systems to develop highly scalable distributed enterprise applications that optimally process large data sets. Use Redis, RDBMS, NoSQL DB, Apigee, Kubernetes to develop Proof of Concepts on emerging technologies to find efficient solutions to address critical business challenges. Use Splunk, AppDynamics, Jenkins to ensure the accuracy and quality of data used in analysis. Use Jira, Confluence, Git, Agile Methodology to supervise, plan, and execute sprints. Engage with developers and vendor resources to ensure delivery and deployment of solutions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Applications Developer or related position involving applications systems analysis and design. 6 years of experience must include: Core Java, JavaScript, Multi-Threading, Exception Handling, GoF Pattern Designs; Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Spring Data; Microservices, Distributed Systems; Splunk, Jenkins; Redis, RDBMS, NoSQL DB, Apigee, Kubernetes; and Jira, Confluence, Git, Agile Methodology.
