Citigroup Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Implement application systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, and model development. Monitor all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation. Provide operational support on applications. Analyze problems, evaluate business and system processes, and adhere to industry standards. Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis. Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards. Serve as advisor to new or lower-level analysts. Act as SME to senior stakeholders and other team members. Assess risk when making business decisions in line with firm’s standards. Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhere to Policies, and business practices. Develop business and product enhancements, applications, programming, and testing. Provide Project Management and Reporting. Manage Software Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Scrum Methodologies. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Developing Mainframe and Microservices applications for Bank and Card collections, including CACS 8.2 and CACS 9.0; Utilizing programming languages, including JCL, COBOL, CA Easytrieve, DB/2, CICS, Oracle SQL, Micro Service, VSAM, MQ Series, Changeman, and JSON restful web services; Delivering applications with clean code, zero vulnerability, and maximum unit test coverage; Securing Personal Identification Information data using SonarQube; Migrating Middleware services from legacy TIBCO/ESB and IBM z/OS applications to Collection Microservices ZOS ZConnect JSON Services; Performing evaluation and automated alerting of application performance, system usage, and node usage using appdynamics and splunk; Reducing business-impacting defects and enhancing system performance using SDLC methodologies including Agile and Kanban; and managing and tracking the project works and issues in JIRA.40 hrs./wk.
