Aerotek Technician in Irvine, California

Looking for Technicians ::

Description:

• Someone with electrical work experience. People that are mechanically inclined to work on boats, cars, bikes have worked out well

• Computer skills: Excel - they will give a basic test onsite that includes copy/paste, saving docs, and using shortcuts

• Need to be able to troubleshoot problems based on error messages

• Plus if they are familiar with the following tools: multi meter, torque driver, pipette, light meter, temperature data lager, laser collimation, oscilloscope, and electrostatic discharge (ESD)

Performs a wide range of assembly tasks on medical devices using work instructions and similar documentation.

They package what they assemble so they will start with packaging and getting trained there and then will work up to assembly

• Performs a variety of assembly operations on mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies under minimal supervision.

• Meets workmanship standards for quality. Can inspect work for defects and report and deviations found. Assumes responsibility for quality level of work performed.

• Meets production level and advised supervisor of progress.

• Meets company standards for attendance, safety, housekeeping and all personnel policy requirements.

• Performs all tasks in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

GMP Experience

Needs to be proficient with Microsoft Office (Mainly inputting into Excel, saving and moving files)

Cleanroom experience is a plus

2 years of prior assembler experience, wiring harnessing, and assembly

Skill/Aptitude: Must be able to demonstrate aptitude for mechanical assembly

Alternate Qualifications: Ability to read and use process sheets, schematics and blue prints.

General physical requirements: Ability to lift 20 pounds

Ability to effectively use a variety of hand tools.

Motion and sensory requirements: Walking, talking, hearing, moderate manual dexterity
