Bookkeeper

Job Description

You will perform general accounting and accounts payable activities. You will maintain and ensure the accuracy of accounting records and support the Accounting Department. Responsibilities also include assisting the Executive Director with information requests for management and auditing purposes.

Hard Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of general accounting experience.

  • Demonstrated accuracy in entries and work critical; ability to analyze, identify and correct errors.

  • Ability to work individually and with a team.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated detailed orientation and high organization skills.

  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Job Type

This is a contract position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Irvine, California.

Work Environment

The role involves both individual and team work, with opportunities to assist in special accounting projects and contribute to monthly and year-end audit schedules.
