Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Production Support Specialist to join their team. As a Production Support Specialist, you will be part of the Extrusion department or the Press Cell department, supporting various team objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Support Specialist

Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

2nd shift 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Location: Indianapolis, IN (East Side near 30th and Mass Ave)

Pay Range: $17 - $19.50

What's the Job?

• Ensure that safety is always the number one priority and promote a safe work environment.

• Set up and run equipment safely and efficiently to maximize output while meeting customer quality requirements.

• Conduct all processes in accordance with department key measures and ensure quality practices are followed.

• Cross-train in various functions within the department to enhance versatility and support team objectives.

• Inspect parts for surface quality, color, profile appearance, and dimensions, completing quality control as necessary.

What's Needed?

• Ability to stand in one place and perform continuous and repetitive movements with may last up to 8 hours.

• Be able to lift up to 50 - 75 lbs. unassisted.

• Be willing to work in a limited climate controlled environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.

• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to recognize safety concerns and effectively solve problems.
