We are looking for skilled Diesel Truck Fleet Mechanics to join our team and help keep our fleet of roll-off trucks, tri-axle dump trucks, and other heavy equipment in top condition. This is a full-time position (with opportunities for overtime and weekend work, depending on the season).
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced diesel mechanics with a strong understanding of truck and heavy equipment maintenance.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems.
Self-motivated individuals who can work independently with minimal supervision.
A team player who can coordinate repairs efficiently to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, brake, hydraulic, and ignition system issues. Conduct engine repairs and replacements as needed.
Use diagnostic tools to assess and repair vehicle performance.
Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work meets safety and environmental standards.
Requirements:
Diesel mechanic experience (DOT certified preferred, required for 26,000+ lbs vehicles). Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on diesel mechanic work
License: Valid driver’s license required. Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop. You may be occasionally asked to travel outside of the shop.
Skills: Proficiency with tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques.
