Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description We are seeking an Attorney/Lawyer based in Indianapolis, Indiana to assist with our digital and marketing related legal matters. This role provides a short term contract employment opportunity within a dynamic legal environment where you will work on contracts, vendor agreements, and data privacy matters, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts such as Master Service Agreements (MSA), Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements, vendor agreements, and order forms.

• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to provide legal advice and support on promotional activities and influencer agreements.

• Handle complex legal matters related to digital law, data privacy, and IT.

• Conduct legal research and provide advice to internal teams on the legal aspects of various corporate projects.

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of all legal documents and ensure the company's legal compliance.

• Collaborate with external attorneys, as necessary, to handle complex legal issues and litigation.

• Provide interim legal solutions as needed, ensuring the organization’s interests are protected.

• Participate in the development of corporate policies, procedures and programs, and provide continuing counsel on legal implications.

• Act as a legal point of contact and trusted advisor, providing clear and concise advice to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Requirements • Must possess a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school

• Licensed Attorney and eligible to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

• Demonstrated experience in dealing with SaaS or SAAS - Software As A Service agreements

• Proficient in drafting and negotiating Master Agreements and Vendor Agreements

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Data Privacy laws and regulations

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• High level of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills

• Proven organizational and prioritization skills.
