Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. This role involves working in the telecom industry, where the individual will be responsible for executing various tasks related to billing and reconciliations. The person will also be utilizing Microsoft Excel for various tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Prepare billing invoices for services rendered or goods sold

• Handle account reconciliations to ensure accurate record-keeping

• Regularly review receivables for any overdue accounts

• Use Microsoft Excel to organize data and perform financial calculations

• Communicate with clients to answer queries and resolve billing disputes. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.

• Prior experience in Billing and Reconciliations is mandatory.

• Demonstrable understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Proven analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with accounting software would be advantageous.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Strong customer service skills to interact with clients and resolve billing discrepancies.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
