Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will respond to questions involving custody and processing of public funds. You will assist in providing advice and guidance to management officials and project managers on all aspects of budget execution or financial management. You will provide procurement, contractual, workload and financial input data for assigned programs. You will assure that adequate funding is received and allocates properly within the divisions or field activities. You will assist in managing funding through fund documents and fund/cost transfers. You will assist in identifying over expenditures and work with project manages to make corrections. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-03 (GS-09 through GS-10 equivalent) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing analytical studies or evaluative methods, to include utilizing financial management system (e.g., enterprise resource planning) to provide resolution of financial issues and budget performance for improved efficiency and accuracy of financial programs. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: -Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR -3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR -LL.M., if related. OR -Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. This announcement uses the Direct Hire STRL Mission Support authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This position is located in the Chemical, Biological & Radiological Defense Division (R2) This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-11 and GS-12. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
