Google Staff Software Engineer, Core Enterprise Developer Infrastructure in Hyderabad, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.

  • 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with designing and building large-scale distributed systems for enterprise or in an enterprise setting.

  • Experience with one or more high-level programming languages such as Java, C++ and Go.

  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and programming.

  • Familiarity with common distributed systems patterns and principles.

  • Excellent system design skills and ability to deliver solutions to production in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Develop, maintain, operate and fix first-party tools.

  • Modernize the development stack of first-party tools.

  • Determine migration, retirement or update plans for first-party tools.

  • Work with stakeholders such as culture tech, internal content moderation team, engineering excellence, security, privacy, legal and others to determine and address compliance requirements in first-party tools.
