Brief Job Overview

This is supervisory position responsible for expansion activities at Unit I & Unit II, IKP. The role requires proactiveness as a key requirement and the applicant is expected to supervise team of project supervisors and handle day-to-day project coordination with various contractors, agencies, vendor, landlord’s team and USP staff for timely delivery of project activities.

How will YOU create an impact here at USP?

Position Description : -

The incumbent will be responsible for driving activities related to Infrastructure Set-up of Laboratory Expansion Project based in Hyderabad.

1. Well versed with MS Project, Project Charters, Other Tools & Technics to prepare & manage project timelines, cost estimates, etc.

2. Excellent knowledge in project planning, tracking & reporting. Creating baseline project schedules & tracking the completion of project deliverables, tasks, activities & milestones.

3. Excellent knowledge in setting up laboratory including its utility equipment.

4. Excellent knowledge in designing and planning utilities such as chilled water lines, hot water lines, HVAC systems with 100% exhaust, humidity controlled labs, potent labs, gas systems as required for laboratory operations.

5. Experience/exposure to electrical installations and distribution, FAS, PAS, BMS, CCTV and access control systems.

6. Interfaces with bid proposal team to provide input to future work & ensure smooth implementation.

7. To collaborate with various internal & external stakeholders during project activities.

8. To prepare financial forecast & communicate with stakeholders.

9. Coordinate & follow-up with stakeholders for task completion as per timelines.

10. Ability to understand statutory provisions related to office infrastructure & R&D setups.

11. To communicate progress to Leadership team from time to time.

12. Ability to coordinate with Architect, PMC Consultants, Vendors & Contractors for timely work execution, verification of actual deliverables, etc.

13. To handle team of project supervisors working at site and guiding them as necessary.

14. To coordinate with landlord / property owners and statutory authorities as and when needed

Who is USP Looking For?

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:

1. Minimum 10+ years of experience in handling multiple interior, office or pharma laboratory setup activities.

2. Must have excellent knowledge of MS Project, Project Charters, Other Tools & Technics related to project activities.

3. Bachelor's degree in engineering will be added advantage.

4. Excellent analytical and communication skills.

5. Good understanding of project performance matrix.

6. Knowledge and experience in local authority procedures.

7. Ability to manage & prioritize own workload & work with limited supervision.

Supervisory Responsibilities

2 to 3 Project Supervisors working under contractual role.
