Job Description
Oracle Purchasing is an integral part of Oracle’s Procurement Cloud suite. Professional buyers use this application to streamline purchase order processing while strengthening policy compliance.
As part of the Oracle Purchasing Cloud development organization, you will work as part of a cross-functional team that acts as the central resource and driving force for analyzing customer requirements, designing solutions , developing product specifications, , testing and managing activities related to launch of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Duties and tasks are multifaceted needing independent judgment in a complex development environment.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Capture and analyze customer requirements to define new product capabilities and develop feature designs
Define product specifications based on market demand and customer feedback
Prioritize features based on business value, feasibility and user needs
Drive new feature development using agile and continuous-delivery methodology
Write and review user stories and acceptance criteria, to ensure that the product meets requirements and quality standards
Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to ensure successful product delivery every sprint
Deliver product collateral and review product documentation
Communicate product updates and plans with partners and customers optimally
Track product adoption metrics by analyzing data and data-driven decisions to optimize the product
Work with customers, consultants, and marketing to get new feature requirements and provide implementation mentorship
Coordinate with internal groups (consulting, sales, support, partners) during product roll-out and ongoing maintenance
Conduct user testing on product iterations to improve user experience and address issues
Be fully proficient in own area of expertise
Qualifications
5+ years of product management or meaningful experience
Major: MS/BS in Business, Computer Science
Experience in Scrum/Agile Development methodologies
Good functional knowledge of supply chain, financial, procurement applications
Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of software development processes
Ability to work well with a wide range of people
Experience working on enterprise software application projects
Experience with Oracle Applications is a plus
