Oracle Principal Engineer (SOA, OSB, OIC) in HYDERABAD, India

Job Description

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Strong Expertise in Oracle Middleware Technologies:

  • Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediators, Adapters, etc.)

  • Oracle Service Bus (OSB), WebLogic, and related technologies.

  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for cloud and hybrid integrations.

  • Experience with JNDI-based connection configurations.

  • Cloud Infrastructure:

  • Deep experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.

  • Knowledge of deploying and managing services on OCI, including networking, storage, and security configurations.

  • Middleware Administration and Troubleshooting:

  • Installation, configuration, patching, and migration of Oracle Middleware components.

  • Experience with high-availability environments, including clustering, load balancing, and disaster recovery for Fusion Middleware products.

  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across middleware platforms.

  • Programming and Development Background:

  • Strong experience with Java, JDeveloper, and development of SOA/BPM solutions.

  • Familiarity with web services (SOAP, REST) and service orchestration using BPEL, Business Rules, and other integration technologies.

  • Database and Application Integration:

  • Proficient in working with Oracle databases, including configuration, tuning, and JNDI-based connectivity.

  • Experience with integration of Oracle E-Business Suite and other applications using SOA Suite and OSB.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of middleware solutions, including SOA Suite, OSB, and OCI integrations.

  • Architect and implement high-availability, scalable solutions that integrate Oracle applications and databases using Oracle SOA, OIC, OSB, and other relevant technologies.

  • Provide consulting and guidance to internal teams and clients, ensuring adherence to best practices and Oracle standards.

  • Manage end-to-end deployment processes for SOA and OSB solutions in OCI, focusing on automation, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Implement and maintain JNDI connections to various databases, systems, and services across hybrid and cloud environments.

  • Oversee performance tuning, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex issues within the Middleware stack.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver impactful middleware solutions that align with business needs.

  • Provide 24x7 on-call support as needed, ensuring quick resolution of production issues with minimal disruption.

  • Maintain and improve the technical documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible for the team.

  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Oracle Middleware, OCI, and cloud platforms to continuously innovate and optimize solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure).

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Oracle Middleware technologies (SOA, OSB, OIC).

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment and provide on-call support as needed.
