Expected salary range of $208,800 to $232,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

A highly experienced litigation and bankruptcy attorney who works independently and has major matter, team or client responsibilities. Work generally involves handling matters of very substantial importance.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Performs as a specialist in the litigation and bankruptcy fields of law, provides technical and expert legal services to Constellation Business Units. Under little or no supervision, plans, conducts and supervises large and highly complex legal assignments; evaluates both legal and business risks and advises clients accordingly; represents Constellation in litigation or other relevant matters. Provides legal counsel to all levels of management, including senior management.

  • Directly manages relationships and matters with Business Units and outside counsel. Provides project leadership direction to support staff.

  • Prepare, and revise as necessary, budgets and early matter assessments for all matters involving outside counsel.

  • Projects / duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • An LLB or JD from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law.

  • At least 10-12 years of professional experience in a specialized area of law.

  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of the legal field to the completion of complex assignments.

  • Requires excellent legal research, analytical abilities and on ongoing knowledge of federal and/or state law, including bankruptcy law
