Jacobs ESSCA Group Systems Engineer #ADV008I4 in Huntsville, Alabama
This opportunity will provide systems engineering and mission planning integration support to the Systems Design and Definition Branch (EV72) for the Human Landing System (HLS) element and to the MSFC Systems Engineering and Integration Division (EV70).
The successful candidate will coordinate and interface with multiple HLS engineering disciplines, system elements, cross-program elements, and customers, as well as participate in HLS reviews, meetings, working groups, task teams, and trade studies. The candidate will supply leadership or support for the development of key systems engineering products including interface requirement documents, support program/project milestones and subsequent activities where these products are assessed and matured. The successful candidate will work with the Human Landing System element customers/partners from inception to deployment to ensure stakeholder needs are satisfied.
Job Requirements:
A degree in engineering or similar discipline is required. A degree from an ABET accredited university is preferred. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a BS with at least 5 years of systems engineering experience.
Additional Qualifications:
1+ Year(s) of Experience in Leading Technical Teams
Knowledge of systems modeling language experience (i.e. UML or SysML), and relevant tool experience (as a user, not an admin)
Experience using requirements management tools such as DOORS
Familiarity with JIRA or similar task management software (as a user, not an admin)
