Jacobs ESSCA Group Systems Engineer #ADV0008I3 in Huntsville, Alabama
This candidate will provide systems engineering and integration support to the Systems Design and Definition Branch (EV72) for the Space Launch Systems (SLS) Exploration Upper Stage (EUS) element and to the MSFC Systems Engineering and Integration Division (EV70).
The candidate will coordinate and interface with multiple EUS engineering disciplines, system elements, cross-program elements, and customers, as well as participate in EUS reviews, meetings, working groups, task teams, and trade studies. The successful candidate will work with EUS element customers and partners from inception to deployment to ensure that stakeholder needs are satisfied.
Job Requirements:
A degree in engineering or related discipline is required. A degree from an ABET accredited university is preferred. Educational requirements are the equivalent of a BS with at least 5 years of systems engineering experience.
Experience working in requirements management, functional design definition, hardware integration, or requirements verification and validation.
Familiarity with how to perform a design functional analysis or development of operational concepts.
