Exciting Mechanical/Structural Opportunity Supporting Next Gen Technology!!

Job Description:

• Responsible for analyzing complex systems and developing solutions to structural analysis problems. Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test.

• Performs structural analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

• Generates reports and presents to Government counterparts, defense contractors, and other cross-functional organizations.

• Research, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems.

• Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred (not required):

• BS in Mechanical Engineering

• Specialty Engineering Experience: Environmental and/or Safety.

• Experience with mechanical overhaul procedure development at the equipment and system level.

• Experience conducting analysis of mechanical components and structures involving launch equipment, determining effectiveness, and creating written recommendations for increasing efficiency.
