The pay rate for this job is $21 - $24 / hour

Responsibilities:

• The Plumber Helper will assist journeyman plumbers and other skilled tradespeople in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on commercial projects.

• This role involves a variety of support tasks to ensure smooth operations on the job site.

• Responsibilities: Material Handling - Transport and prepare materials, tools, and equipment needed for plumbing tasks.

• Assisting with Installations - Help with the installation of pipes, fittings, and fixtures under the guidance of journeyman plumbers.

• Site Preparation - Set up and prepare work areas, including laying out tools and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

• Tool Maintenance - Maintain and clean tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

• Safety Compliance - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Basic Repairs - Perform basic plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks and unclogging drains, under supervision.

• Inspections - Assist in inspecting plumbing systems to identify leaks or malfunctions.

• Documentation - Record materials used and tasks completed as directed by the supervising plumber.

• Learning and Development - Actively learn and develop plumbing skills through hands-on experience and training provided by journeyman plumbers.

• 40/week, 4, 10 hour days Monday-Thursday

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plumber Helper, with a focus on commercial plumbing projects.

• Understanding of commercial plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Prior experience using Hand tools, Power tools required.

• Need to have all necessary plumbing tools.

• Position may require a drug screen.

• Background check required.
