ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician in Huntington, West Virginia

Manpower is seeking a maintenance technician for a client in the tristate area.

Job duties include:

  • Loading and unloading parts for heat treat

  • Operating forklifts and cranes

  • Maintenance on equipment

  • Operate, control and monitor heat treating equipment as required and written in standard procedures and/or customer paperwork

  • Troubleshooting and repair of furnaces which may include programing, leak testing and repair, pump and motor repairs, heating elements, thermocouple replacements and other mechanical aspects of furnaces

  • Perform furnace calibrations and uniformity surveys

  • Ability to program and run multiple different furnace/oven controllers

Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED

  • Any heat treating experience is a plus

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment without supervision

  • May be required to work overtime

  • Ability to work standing for long periods of time in a hot environment

  • Must be able to communicate effectively

  • Must be able to report to work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with coworkers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism

  • Must follow all safety rules and procedures at all times
