Actalent is looking for a CAD Drafter

Description:

Our client is seeking a CAD Drafter to support Exelon-related projects. Candidates should have working knowledge of AutoCAD, with designing experience being a plus. Ideal candidates have an interest in starting off their career with a great engineering firm and are interested in getting into utilities. Day to day responsibilities will include:

-Data Collection: Capture photos of electrical equipment and power lines during routine inspections, as well as conduct measurements and inspections of utility poles. These images help identify wear, damage, or potential hazards.

-Creating Drawings: Use computer-aided drafting equipment or traditional drafting tools to create working drawings, wiring diagrams, wiring connection specifications, and cross-sections of underground cables.

-Collaborating with Engineering Staff: Electrical drafters work closely with engineering staff and other personnel to resolve any problems that may arise during the drafting/design process

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

AutoCAD/ Microstation Exposure: Have a basic understanding of design softwares so they can pick up the specific training provided. For entry level role, they need to have a desire to learn and grow with the company.
