The Business Development Account Manager North America (NA) – Acoustic Imaging position will be responsible for targeting and influencing larger end users.

Your contribution

Our Sales Team is responsible for aligning condition monitoring solutions with core industrial customers with World Leading sensing technology, we solve real world problems in reliability maintenance, continuous monitoring, documentation, and planning. We have the competence and expertise to develop in-house cutting-edge thermal/acoustic cameras and software solutions that provide valuable decision support, providing our customers a seamless user experience.

As the Business Development Account Manager for Acoustic Imaging, you will focus on working with core end user accounts with the support of channel partners, reps and other FLIR colleagues to expand our growing acoustic imaging business.   • Be customer facing, taking a hands-on approach to solving customers problems and providing solutions utilizing acoustic imaging cameras with a focus on driving outsized sales growth

  • Able to travel 70% of the time at peak periods within the US and Canada as required, plus support larger national events.

  • Indicate, monitor, and report on customer projects and market knowledge.

  • Target and influence larger Industrial end users, including but not limited to:

  • Food & Beverage Manufacturing

  • Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

  • Commercial and Government Facilities Operators

  • Pro-actively nurture existing and actively prospect new relationships with key customers, distribution channels and industry aligned manufacturing organizations

  • Manage and support Channel Sales teams in support of partner management of acoustic imaging business

To be ready to take on this role, we would love it if you have

  • Experience in near, mid, and long-term consultative selling preferred.

  • Solid interpersonal skills able to lead and influence others.

  • Project management experience or experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders preferred.

  • Experience with industrial end user accounts preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of maintenance and reliability codes and standards preferred but not mandatory.

  • Ability to plan, manage, and track territory-based plans, projects and opportunities.

  • Experience with CRM , OneNote, Microsoft Teams preferred.
