Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot PLCs and electrical issues on presses, along with mechanical troubleshooting. Responsibilities include reading electric circuit diagrams, installing sensors, photoswitches, and mechanical limit switches, modifying hardwire safety circuits, installing control devices, using meters to troubleshoot circuits, and checking circuit continuity. Additional tasks involve reading mechanical blueprints, making physical connections to interface between computers and PLCs, performing program downloads and uploads, troubleshooting basic PLC logic circuits, changing or adding cards to a rack, reading basic pneumatic/hydraulic circuit diagrams, and wiring 2 or 3 phase motors.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Howell, Michigan.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean, well-organized sheet metal stamping and assembly facility serving major automotive companies. The facility operates large presses and numerous robots. Shifts include 2nd Shift from 2PM to 10:30PM and 3rd Shift from 10PM to 6:30AM, with a schedule of 40 hours one week and 56 hours the next, including alternating weekends.
