MEEKER AND WRIGHT SPECIAL EDUCATION COOPERATIVE #938 Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in Howard Lake, Minnesota

The Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher provides home-based services to children ages birth to two with developmental delays and/or disabilities, as identified through the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) or Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. The ECSE Teacher develops and implements individualized, evidence-based instructional plans designed to meet the unique needs of each child and family. This role involves collaborating closely with families to enhance developmental outcomes, interpreting progress, and providing guidance to parents/guardians on strengths, growth areas, and strategies to support continued development. Key responsibilities include conducting Part C and Part B evaluations, facilitating IFSP and IEP meetings, and ensuring compliance with state and federal due process requirements. The ECSE Teacher maintains accurate and timely documentation, monitors student progress, and actively supports families in understanding and accessing available resources.
