The Talent Management Specialist serves as a subject matter expert, internal consultant, and project manager for Talent Management programs and projects. This role supports talent programs to identify and develop talent, create talent pipelines, & promote career progression and drive a culture of high-performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Researches, proposes, designs, implements, maintains, and evaluates enterprise-wide talent management processes and programs such as performance management, career development, mentoring, talent review, & succession planning

  • Oversees the annual performance evaluation process, setting timelines, coordinating communications, developing materials, facilitating training, and deploying the process

  • Designs and maintains learning materials, resources, and tools for talent management programs and processes

  • Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to build and execute Talent Management strategies.

  • Researches, evaluates and proposes Talent Management best practices to management.

  • Compiles, analyzes, monitors and reports against key metrics to diagnose and evaluate the effectiveness of Talent Management programs.

  • Facilitates project meetings and learning events

  • Defines and maintains job qualifications, including competencies, skills, and work experiences

Work Hours

Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises Travel up to 5%

Physical Demands

Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day Climbing stairs to access buildings frequently

Work Postures

Frequent, continuous periods of time standing, up 6 hours per day

Work Environment

Work is mostly indoors Limited amount of local and/or multiple location travel required. Professional Dress is required when in contact with families.

Experience

  • Five years Human Resources, Talent Management, Diversity and Inclusion, Leadership Development or a relevant discipline Two years implementing Talent Management programs and initiatives Talent technologies such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or Cornerstone on Demand

MINIMUM Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Behavior or related field or 5 years of equivalent experience.
