Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining supply chain analytics, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. Additionally, they should possess advanced technical skills in data analysis and manipulation, proficiency in Microsoft Power BI tools and other relevant tools and software, and expertise in commodity-specific sourcing areas such as logistics, machining, elastomers, and more. This individual should demonstrate adaptability to changing environments, a commitment to excellent customer service, and potential for leadership. Certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, would be advantageous. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this dynamic role.
Roles & Responsibilities
OPERATIONS
Support sourcing group by analysing data, generating reports, and presenting findings to cross-functional teams
Manage internal supplier database, ensuring proper classification and data integrity, and liaising with Data Governance for system optimization
Create various reports covering supplier spend, compliance, and performance metrics to aid strategic decision-making
Track and quantify Procurement Process performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
Ensure safe and efficient utilization of company systems and tools Design, develop, and optimize Power BI solutions including dashboards, reports, and visualizations
Conduct data analysis to identify trends and optimization opportunities
Implement DevOps practices into BI development lifecycle for better efficiency
Provide training and support to end-users for effective use of Power BI
Utilize Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps to enhance BI solutions and automate processes
Write and optimize T-SQL queries for ETL processes
Stay updated on industry trends in Power BI, DevOps, T-SQL, and data visualization
Collect and analyze supply chain operations data to improve efficiency
Execute projects to enhance supply chain operations and maintain vendor relationships
Measure and report supply chain performance to management
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and IT departments to enhance service delivery
COMMUNICATION
Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs for Power BI solutions and data analysis projects ensuring that insights provided meet their information needs
Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports
Report supply chain performance metrics to management in a clear and concise manner, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning
Present reports and findings to cross-functional teams in a concise and understandable manner, fostering comprehension and discussion
Facilitate clear communication between sourcing group members, ensuring effective collaboration during data analysis and report generation processes
Act as a liaison between the sourcing group and Data Governance team, conveying requirements and ensuring system functionality aligns with user needs
Qualifications
Experience & Education
REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline
Legally authorized to work
2+ years related experience with Spend Analysis and Business Intelligence Tools with ability to perform database query, graph data and draft reports
Ability to interact in English and potentially other language relevant in local hub Proficient in MS Office suite
PREFERRED
Familiarity with Account Payable process ad general ledger with Finance/Business experience
Knowledge of JD Edwards operating systems
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
2+ years experience in a supply management role or related position
Experience with sourcing tools, e-auction, e-RFP
Experience with Alteryx Desktop Designer and Alteryx Server
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
REQUIRED
Ability to independently translate internal customer requirements into actionable tasks with minimal supervision, alongside the capacity to collaborate effectively on special projects with management
Proficiency in collaboration and communication across multi-regional or global settings
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role, with strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI tools including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service
Advanced technical and analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to analyze large, complex data sets and cost models using various software and tools to derive actionable insights
Experience with T-SQL and relational databases, coupled with a solid understanding of data modeling, data visualization, and dashboard design principles
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including adept presentation abilities
Demonstrated time-management and detail-oriented approach, consistently delivering high accuracy

Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and operational requirements

Knowledge of Oracle platforms and services

Proven knowledge of inventory management
Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or similar.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate are advantageous
Proficiency in integrating large volumes of public indices, information, and news into analysis
