We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will possess strong skills in reconciliation, be proficient with Balance Sheet and Bank Reconciliations and have the ability to manage Journal Entries efficiently. It is pivotal for this role to have extensive knowledge in General Ledger management.

Responsibilities:

The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, accrual accounting tasks, monthly close processes, utilizing SAP and Business Intelligence tools for data management, and conducting financial analysis. The role also requires managing foreign exchange operations, collaborating with the risk management team, maintaining the general ledger and carrying out bank reconciliations. The candidate will also take responsibilities for preparing for upcoming tasks and streamlining processes, as well as contributing to team engagement and motivation.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field and hold a senior-level position or equivalent experience in Accounting. A professional accounting certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred but not required.

Required Skills:

• Experience in Month End Close processes

• Knowledge of SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) Tools

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing the Sr. Accountant to work both in the office and remotely. We are looking for a dedicated individual with the ability to work under pressure and towards tight deadlines, demonstrating a consistent high level of commitment and professionalism.

• Knowledge of SAP for financial operations is necessary

• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) for data analysis and reporting is highly desirable
