Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Project Assistant in the Manufacturing industry. The position is based in Houston, Texas. As a Project Assistant, you will be working closely with Project Managers to support the planning, organization and execution of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers in planning, organizing and executing manufacturing projects

• Maintain detailed and organized records of project information

• Utilize Microsoft Office and project management software to manage project timelines and tasks

• Oversee and manage customer credit applications and records

• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service

• Perform data entry tasks and organize files as required

• Coordinate large-scale projects while maintaining attention to detail

• Use strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders

• Adapt to the fast-paced environment of the Manufacturing industry

• Utilize skills in Customer Service, Data Entry, Timeline Management, Organizing Files, Scanning, and Microsoft Office Suites. Requirements • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Proven skills in customer service

• Experience with data entry tasks

• Ability to manage timelines effectively

• Proficiency in organizing files and documents

• Familiarity with scanning documents and maintaining digital records

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Deep understanding of the manufacturing industry and its operations

• Experience in handling large-scale projects

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
