Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Programmer Analyst based in Houston, Texas. This role is pertinent to the manufacturing industry, offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing and developing software applications utilizing a variety of technologies and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to understand and analyze software requirements, ensuring that all applications are designed and developed according to the specified needs.

• Utilize C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and other related technologies to design, develop, and maintain software applications.

• Develop and manage SQL Server databases, focusing on creating stored procedures, queries, and database design.

• Work on the development, testing, and deployment of RESTful APIs and web services, facilitating smooth integration with other systems.

• Proactively troubleshoot software bugs or issues to optimize application performance.

• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure its maintainability.

• Stay updated with emerging .NET technologies and implement best practices in software development.

• Document codes, processes, and system designs comprehensively as required.

• Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira, GitHub, Hibernate ORM, and others for backend development and documentation. Requirements • Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking

• Strong experience in Backend Development, with the ability to create efficient and robust solutions

• Knowledge and practical experience with DB2 Database for managing and manipulating data

• Familiarity with GitHub for version control and code sharing

• Proficient in using Hibernate ORM for mapping an object-oriented domain model to a relational database

• Experience in AB Testing to optimize user experience and improve product performance

• Proven ability in working in an Agile Scrum environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and iterative development

• Solid understanding of ASP.NET for building server-side web applications

• Proficiency in CSS for designing and building user interfaces
