We are on the lookout for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will act as the liaison between employees and the third-party payroll vendor, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets, PTO, and employee information. You will also utilize your experience with Microsoft Excel, Deltek, Workday, and Full Cycle Payroll to efficiently and effectively manage payroll related tasks.

Our client located in the Greenway Plaza area of Houston, TX is seeking a Payroll Administrator. The Payroll Administrator must have 3+ years of full cycle Payroll experience. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for being the liaison between the employee's and the third-party payroll vendor, verifying timesheets, PTO, and employee information is correct. Experience using Deltek and Workday would be a HUGE plus. This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to 31/HR plus benefits working in office 100%.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full cycle payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely compensation for all employees

• Manage the relationship with our third-party payroll vendor, acting as the primary point of contact for any issues or inquiries

• Validate timesheets, PTO, and employee information for accuracy, making corrections as necessary

• Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Deltek, and Workday to organize, analyze, and report on payroll data

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data across departments

• Continually review and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy

• Stay updated on current regulations and laws related to payroll processing to ensure compliance

• Assist in the preparation of reports summarizing payroll data for accounting purposes or management analysis

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Payroll Administration or a related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for data management and analysis

• Experience with Deltek, Workday, and Full Cycle Payroll is required for efficient payroll processing

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management

• Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding salaries, wages, and benefits

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills to handle payroll discrepancies

• High level of accuracy and efficiency in entering payroll information

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
