Aerotek is seeking an Overhead Crane Technician
Job Description
As an Overhead Crane Technician, you will be responsible for servicing existing overhead cranes. Using hand tools and some power tools, you will troubleshoot cranes to identify problems and make necessary repairs on-site. If parts need to be ordered, you will return to complete the fix. This role involves traveling to multiple sites daily and working at heights using a scissor lift regularly.
Responsibilities
Service and repair existing overhead cranes.
Use hand tools and power tools to troubleshoot and fix issues.
Identify problems and determine necessary repairs.
Order parts as needed and return to sites to complete repairs.
Work at multiple sites in a day.
Perform work at heights using a scissor lift.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience as an Overhead Crane Technician.
Experience in electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting tasks.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Field service and repair experience.
Knowledge in preventive maintenance.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical experience required
Electrical knowledge is a plus.
Experience as a maintenance technician, maintenance electrician, or maintenance mechanic.

Work Environment
This position is with a family-owned crane company that manufactures overhead cranes. You will work in the service tech department, traveling to clients' sites each morning to service cranes. You will collaborate closely with an experienced service technician who will drive the truck and provide on-the-job training.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
