Aerotek Mechanical Assembler in Houston, Texas

Description:

Candidates will be performing mechanical assembly on Pipes, Valves, coils, and other large mechanical structural parts.

They will be working in a team to install components such as bus ducts, air handles, cable trays, pipes and sheet metal into an oversized module built out of structural tubes. (Size compared to an 18 wheeler)

Candidates will be working in an assembly station (not converyor belt).

Candidates will also be required to perform basic Electrical Assembly such as pulling wire, installation of bus bars, bus ducting, cable trays, etc.

Candidates will be performing 90% Mechanical Assembly and 10% Electrical.

Candidates will be reading blueprints, BOM, P&IDs, and Work Orders or Work Instructions and relaying them to a team.

This will be repetitive fast paced work.

Requirements:

  • Industrial assembly experience

  • 3+ years' experience

  • Experience assembling valves, actuators, motors, and or compressors

Pay/Shift:

$18-$25/hr

Mon-Friday 6am-4:30pm

Sat. 6am-2:30pm
