Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical direction on translating business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs. This includes facilitating the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications. This role serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions. In addition, this role personally develops and delivers complex code modules, stable application systems, and integrated enterprise software solutions within various computing environments.

What You Will Do

• Resolves complex problems spanning multiple applications to drive improvements across portfolios; leads projects with significant business implications and participates in planning, prioritization and estimates

• Leads development of integrated business and/or enterprise application to ensure solution is resilient, scalable, and maintainable and meet architectural standards

• Builds awareness and product alignment to enterprise recommended frameworks, tools, technologies, engineering platforms, and architectural processes

• Drives operational excellence through disaster recovery and capacity planning, performance and chaos testing, observability alerts and dashboards, and reliability processes and recovery runbooks

• Deconstructs complex problems into simple solutions that can evolve over time

• Educates others on engineering standards and best practices, including code quality analysis, test coverage, security principles (authentication and authorization protocols), AGILE processes

• Mentors and advises others by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of enterprise and industry technologies, tools, methodologies, policies, standards and best practices

• Continuously explores and recommends new enterprise software components and technologies (libraries, framework, tools, DBs, etc.)

• Continuously works to simplify solutions, optimize processes, remove bottlenecks, and resolve escalated issues

• Demonstrates expertise in at least 2 of the four competencies below and working knowledge of others: • Fronted: Building UI using React and NodeJS with proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS • Middleware: Building resource efficient, scalable, and resilient Microservices and APIs using Java/Python/Go • Databases: Building optimal database persistence solutions using right database technologies (ex, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, KAFKA, etc.) • DevOps: Creating automated CI-CD processes using containerization solutions (Docker), CI tools (Drone, Jenkins, Spinnaker), Orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm) and Infrastructure automation (ArgoCD, Rancher, Ansible, Terraform, Chef)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Information Technology industry.

• Proven experience leading teams, including managing at least 2-3 senior engineers.

• Over 8 years of experience with the Boomi AtomSphere Platform.

• Experience working in multi-business and cross-functional teams.

• Skilled in real-time, batch, and ETL integration implementations.

• Proficient in designing, architecting, developing, and testing Boomi API, ETL, and EDI integrations.

• Extensive hands-on experience with the Boomi AtomSphere, including:

• Boomi platform architecture:

• Boomi Atom Clouds, Local Atoms, and Molecules

• API security

• API portal and management

• B2B trading partner integrations.

• Experienced in Agile project execution (Kanban and SCRUM).

• Capable of overseeing junior engineers, managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting existing integrations, and promptly addressing issues or concerns.

• Committed to driving issue resolution within our published SLAs.

• Proficient in updating and maintaining policy and requirements documents.

• Provides technical expertise, mentorship, and support to the Boomi team as needed.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Supply chain or retail experience is essential.

• Boomi Flow and MDM experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field 5-7 Years IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization

• 5-7 Years Experience working with defect or incident tracking software

• 5-7 Years Experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment

• 3-5 Years experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

• 3-5 Years Experience leading teams, with or without direct reports

• 5-7 Years Experience working with source code control systems

• Experience working with Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment tools

• 5-7 Years Experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions

Pay Range for CA, CO, HI, NJ, NY, WA: $111,600.00 - $212,000.00 annually
