Job Description
A premier employer in Houston, Tx is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to manage the interface of the company and their customer base to provide immediate information on available products and services. The Inside Sales Representative will seek, take, and process orders for products and services for existing and potential customers. They will maintain customer account information, product specification and pricing information and resolve customer conflicts by listening to and documenting customer complaints and seeing that the customer receives an answer. This person will coordinate selling activities and provide support services to the Regional Sales Manager to meet sales goals and objectives. On a day to day basis this person will answer telephone requests for sales orders, order entry and follow-up date, respond to faxed, mailed, and e-mailed quotations and follow-ups. In addition they will review all drawings and specifications related to any items or other requirements provided with a customer purchase order and enter sales orders directly into the system and create internal part numbers. They will assist customers with technical advice on general applications, verify the status of existing orders and expedite them accordingly, and coordinate with purchasing to facilitate the re-stocking of inventory items as needed. Lastly, they will handle emergency callout requirements when directed by Manager.

Skills and Requirements
2-3 years experience in an inside sales type position
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Strong "people" skills and positive attitude
Oil and gas industry experience
Bachelors degree Experience with ERP systems (QAD preferred)
Experience with document management systems (ELO preferred) null
