Robert Half HR Generalist in Houston, Texas

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in Houston, Texas for a HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play an integral role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance employee engagement by fostering positive communication and feedback

• Conduct round tables and hourly interviews to ensure effective communication within the company

• Manage recruitment events, streamlining the recruitment processes to ensure efficiency

• Oversee benefit functions, ensuring they align with company policies and legal compliance

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices

• Handle employee relations issues, providing resolution in a timely and effective manner

• Manage and oversee the administration of FMLA and other leave programs and accommodations

• Participate in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures

• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a HR Generalist role

• Proven experience with Benefit Functions

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficient in Compliance with labor laws and regulations

• Strong background in Employee Relations

• Knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

• Ability to Conduct Interviews effectively

• Experience in managing Hiring Processes

• Demonstrated skills in driving Employee Engagement activities TalentMatch®
