Robert Half is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician for one of our clients in the North Houston area. If you have 2-5 years of help desk experience, this could be the job for you! This is a long-term contract to permanent opportunity that requires 100% onsite work for our client. Problem solvers who enjoy working in a challenging and positive environment may do well in this position. The work schedule is 100% ONSITE WORK.

Job Duties

• Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors.

• Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters.

• Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.

• Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities.

• Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals.

• Rectify computer problems and suggest appropriate action/solutions.

• Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  Requirements

Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English

• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

• Help Desk support or related experience.

• Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10. Microsoft Office 365, VPN support, and Azure Active Directory experience required.

• VoIP Phone support, Ring Central is a plus.
