We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Houston, Texas. The role will involve managing full cycle accounts payable and receivable, handling sales and franchise tax, conducting financial reporting, and managing payroll.

Our client located in Clear Lake, TX is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full charge Bookkeeper must have 10+ Years of experience in full cycle Accounts Payable and Receivable, Sales and Franchise Tax, Financial Reporting, and Payroll using QuickBooks. This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to 70K plus excellent benefits working 100% on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full cycle Accounts Payable and Receivable operations

• Conduct regular financial reporting tasks

• Handle Sales and Franchise Tax duties

• Manage payroll using QuickBooks

• Use Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions

• Perform bank reconciliations

• Prepare financial statements

• Conduct financial reconciliation tasks

• Maintain and update QuickBooks as required

• Handle other related duties as assigned.

Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Significant experience in all aspects of accounting functions

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software

• Experience managing Full Cycle Payroll

• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation

• Capability to perform Financial Reconciliation

• Knowledge in handling Sales Tax and Franchise Tax

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role as a Full Charge Bookkeeper.
