InGenesis Financial Clearance Associate (13040) in Houston, Texas

InGenesis is currently seeking a Financial Clearance Associate to work with our client. In this role, you will facilitate access to care and the financial clearance process for patients across a continuum of care served by one or more designated centers. Job Duties • Verify eligibility/benefits, pre-authorization requirements, available payment options, financial counseling, and other identified financial clearance-related duties. • Collaborate with internal or external sources to financially clear patients for care. • Escalate financial clearance issues to the supervisor or coordinator for resolution. • Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • Three years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or related field. With preferred degree, one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications • An associate degree in business, healthcare, or related field; with the preferred degree, one year of the required experience. • Five years business experience in healthcare, insurance, or multi-specialty physician practice. • CHAA or CHAM certification.
