NextOp Employment Coordinator (Hybrid role out of Clarksville, TN) in Houston, Texas

Location: Hybrid role out of Clarksville, TN Reports To: Tennessee Regional Manager Salary: $67,000 annual

Overview

NextOp is expanding its geographic footprint to the Tennessee area to better serve the Enlisted Veteran and transitioning military community, build relationships and partnerships with employers and other ecosystem supporters, and extend our area of influence. This Employment Coordinator role is being established as NextOp's second staff position in the region, to support the expansion effort, and deliver customer success for candidates as well as employers. This role will report directly to the Tennesse Regional Manager and will carry out all regional candidate case management and recruitment efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Candidate Engagement and Success Recruit develop and implement regional candidate recruitment strategy with support of Program team develop regional military and veteran event schedule with Regional Manager and Program Director attend events to extend NextOp services recognition/brand, and recruit collaboratively develop and implement regional marketing plan to support recruitment efforts with Marketing Manager collaboratively develop regional candidate referral partner network with support of NextOp team achieve recruiting goals Develop coach, mentor and guide candidates through program to career placement

develop and manage regional candidate training pathways with support from NextOp team Place collaboratively develop employer network with Regional Manager and support from NextOp team collaboratively establish proactive employer engagement schedule to build relationship, create job exchange, generate employer support for events, and drive candidate placements with Regional Manager and Program Director screen candidates to ensure the most qualified candidate is matched with proper position meet annual candidate placement goals Partner Engagement and Success collaboratively establish proactive employer relationships through meetings, information sessions, and event participation understand employer needs and work to satisfy them actively work to place screened, quality candidates with employers generate employer engagement in events support employer veteran resource group development and engagement develop supporting partner relationships with other nonprofits, government organizations, foundations, associations, etc. to increase awareness of NextOp, create opportunities for candidate or employer referrals, event collaboration, and other mutually beneficial activities

Required Skills, Attributes and Experience

4+ years demonstrated success and experience in recruiting/talent acquisition, sales territory development, or other activities that clearly show delivery of successful outcomes in undeveloped situations Growth mindset; goal setter and achiever who exhibits follow through on goals, tasks, and commitments; willing to try new things; comfortable operating in undefined scenarios Self-starter who is able to develop, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously Organized Skilled communicator; comfortable presenting to groups virtually and in-person Technical skills: Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Experience planning and leading virtual and in-person events CRM experience LinkedIn experience Current drivers license Experience and comfort serving as an organizational representative Willing to set and execute personal travel strategy and engagement plans to build external relationships Comfortable with hybrid work and a remote team environment

Desired Skills, Attributes and Experience

4+ years of demonstrated military leadership, or similarly structured industry/role 2+ years of sales success
