Description Robert Half is seeking an Azure Engineer for one of our clients in the Houston, Texas area. This is a contract opportunity that requires 4 days onsite and 1 workday from home. As an Azure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Azure cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy scalable and reliable solutions on the Azure platform. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and services. Collaborate with development teams to ensure scalable and reliable cloud solutions. Implement and maintain Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components. Monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance, cost, and security. Automate deployment and configuration processes using Azure DevOps or similar tools. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and services. Stay up to date with Azure best practices, new features, and industry trends. Requirements Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Azure services such as VMs, storage accounts, networking, and security. Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages. Experience with Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus. Benefits: Opportunities for detail oriented growth and development.
