Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an Assembly position in Houston, TX.

As an Assembler you will be responsible for supporting the production of assembling, meticulously parts. Responsible for executing assemblies tasks and produce high-quality products efficiently. The assembler must follow established guidelines, maintain safety standards, and contribute to meeting production targets.

Main functions:

  • Execution of the tasks involved in the assemblies processes, as well as the maintenance of all equipment and production facilities following standard operating procedures (SOPS) and safety guidelines.

  • Monitor product quality during the production process, perform regular inspections, and identify any deviations or defects. Notify the appropriate personnel and assist in troubleshooting to maintain product quality standards.

  • Production Efficiency: Maintain a consistent workflow by ensuring the smooth operation of hand tools. Maximize productivity while minimizing downtime.

  • Material Handling: Handle and manage raw materials, components, and finished products according to standard procedures. This includes loading, unloading, and moving materials within the production area.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly to the supervisor or safety personnel.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including production counts, machine logs, quality control checks, and any other relevant documentation. Report production data and issues to supervisors or designated personnel as required.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any production-related issues. Communicate and share relevant information to contribute to a positive work environment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, providing suggestions and feedback to enhance production efficiency, quality, and safety. Contribute to the implementation of best practices and standardization efforts.

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, $17.00

Requirements

Training · High school diploma or equivalent.

Languages · English/Spanish (does not have to be bilingual)

Experience · Familiarity with operating production hand tools.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour
