Description We are seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team located in Houston, Texas. The role will entail tasks such as balance sheet reconciliations, inventory costing, and accounts payable processing. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process accounts payable

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations efficiently

• Handle inventory costing tasks

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for various tasks

• Prepare and maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Record Journal Entries as required

• Perform Reconciliations regularly

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks

• Operate SAP or other large ERP systems Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Specialist.

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems.

• Solid experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Demonstrated ability to prepare Journal Entries.

• Experience with Reconciliations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge and experience with SAP software.
