We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Houston, Texas. This role involves overseeing the general ledger department and managing the accounting functions within our organization. The position is for a detail-oriented individual who is proficient with accounting software systems and possesses a deep understanding of accounts payable and receivable, auditing, billing functions, journal entries, month-end close, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of the general ledger department including accounts payable and receivable, and journal entries

• Supervise the process of creating and closing monthly and annual financial reports

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounting data

• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements

• Coordinate with the auditing team to conduct annual audits of financial information

• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department

• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in an Accounting Manager/Supervisor role.

• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience in handling all Accounting Functions is mandatory.

• Must have hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proven experience in Auditing is essential.

• Should have a strong understanding of Billing Functions.

• Experience in recording and maintaining Journal Entries is required.

• Must be adept at performing Month End Close tasks.

• Expertise in Financial Reporting is crucial.
