Description

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Account Specialist, Assoc in Houston, Texas. This role primarily involves managing accounts for our commercial, industrial, and government customers, addressing their requests and complaints, and collaborating with vendors and management to find solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Address customer complaints, including escalated calls from executive level, media, attorneys, and Public Service Commission (PSC) related issues

• Handle various customer support tasks such as claims processing and resolution, contractor invoices, enrollment, and billing fulfillment

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain precise customer credit records

• Provide support in invoicing and purchase order (PO) process

• Contribute to the monthly close cycle, including managing accrivals

• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business decisions

• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels

• Demonstrate strong time management and organization skills to meet deadlines

• Drive continuous improvement within the organization

• Undertake light office administration tasks as required

• Conduct research and look up invoices as necessary

• Extract, organize, analyze, and report data to support business decisions.

Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service, demonstrating a commitment to providing excellent support to clients.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and analysis.

• Familiarity with various Procedures related to accounting and office administration.

• Ability to handle Invoice processing, Research, and Billing tasks efficiently.

• Experience in Onboarding new staff members and managing Staffing requirements.

• Strong Communication Skills, with the ability to liaise with the C-Suite, Suppliers, and Media.

• Proven track record in Customer Support, including handling Complaints and Account Management.

• Knowledge of SAP R/3 and other business management software.

• Understanding of Commision Functions and Expense Account management.

• Willingness to perform Onsite duties as required.

• Excellent Time Management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Experience with Office Administration tasks, including managing a Business Unit.

• Ability to develop and implement Validation Plans.

• Commitment to Drive Continuous Improvement in processes and procedures.

• Proficiency in Mindset Software, with the ability to use it for various administrative tasks.
