Summary:
The Group Product Director, Market Access Marketing and Field Reimbursement Management (FRM) Team Lead will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies that ensure optimal access and reimbursement for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s Multiple Myeloma CAR-T asset. This role involves leading and coaching a team of marketing professionals, Field Reimbursement District Manager , and 4 Field Reimbursement Managers.
Market Access Marketing responsibilities include all activities related to the design, planning, execution of programs to support interactions with payers, institution population health decision makers (PHDMs), and Certified Treatment Centers. This individual must work closely with multiple functions including Professional Promotion Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Strategic Customer Group (SCG), Medical Affairs, Real World and Evidence, Alliance Management, Patient Support Solutions (PSS), Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS), and outside vendors to effectively develop and execute key market access readiness activities. In addition, this GPD will also work closely with the leaders across the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s Multiple Myeloma Portfolio.
Field Reimbursement responsibilities include effectively leading, developing, and coaching a Field Reimbursement Team (Team Lead and Field Reimbursement Managers) who have access & fulfillment related responsibilities across Oncology healthcare provider accounts as well as collaborating with a wide range of cross-disciplinary internal and external partners. Goal is to support the financial sustainability of CAR-T programs at Certified Treatment Centers and ensure healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers are enabled with the information, tools and resources needed to ensure patient ability to receive CAR-T therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Access Marketing:
Lead brand payer and PHDM strategies to shape the market and achieve brand market access goals
Responsible for development of a differentiated value proposition that is tailored by stakeholder
Oversee design and development of marketing materials and resources for field-based teams
Analyze access and reimbursement data to monitor progress and develop plans to improve effectiveness/efficiency
Serve as core member of integrated evidence generation plan (IEGP) team
Lead brand strategy on key policy and legislative topics impacting CAR-T
Partner with value access and pricing team to develop and implement pricing and payer strategy
Develop competitive access strategies, with lens to the broader Multiple Myeloma portfolio
Field Reimbursement:
Provide leadership and guidance for the FRM Team Lead to enable the execution of CAR-T reimbursement strategy by Field Reimbursement Manager team to achieve optimal access and reimbursement
Development and shaping of the FRM strategy and role, define team success metrics, and encourage innovative FRM solutions to deliver an outstanding FRM team.
Oversee design and development of resources for the Field Reimbursement Manager Team
Collaborate extensively at all organizational levels with key internal partners (ie, SCG, Sales Leadership, Brand, PECS, Compliance, etc) as well as external partners & collaborators to develop efficient access to and established relationships with healthcare providers and their staff.
Lead and optimize performance within an assigned team budget.
Leadership
Lead, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse and versatile team who are proficient and skilled in the healthcare marketplace, and in access & fulfillment. Develop and mentor both direct and indirect reports on core proficiencies and imperatives within their area of responsibility.
People Development: Day-to-day coach, succession planning, development plans, recruitment/retention

Qualifications :
A minimum of a BA/BS required. MBA preferred
Minimum 10 years business experience is required (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Management, etc) of which 5 years of demonstrated marketing experience and confirmed performance is required
Proven people management experience is required; field people leadership experience preferred
Hospital Institutional experience highly preferred
Market access experience highly preferred
Oncology experience is highly preferred
Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business sense
Must be capable of handling and prioritizing multiple priorities
Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and unstructured environment
Demonstrated ability to think strategically
Can operate in two worlds - big picture orientation with attention to detail. Interpersonal flexibility to effectively work alongside a broad range of personnel
Sophisticated communication and presentation skills required
This role is based in Horsham, PA and requires up to 25% travel (predominantly US with limited OUS travel).
