The Surgery team at Straub Clinic & Hospital is committed to providing professional, high quality care to patients and their families. Straub surgeons perform a variety of general procedures as well as vascular, thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. General surgeons perform surgeries from appendectomies to gastrointestinal, breast, thyroid or endocrine surgery. Vascular surgeons specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the arteries and veins, and have expertise in blockages and aneurysms of the arteries in the neck, abdomen and extremities. The Vascular Lab technologists are expert in the examination or arteries and veins throughout the body, and cardiac surgeons diagnose and surgically treat heart disease, including performing cardiac bypass grafts, correct aortic aneurysms, implant cardiac pacemakers or defibrillators to treat cardiac arrhythmia and replace defective heart valves.

As a Patient Service Representative, you will help to ensure that Straub patients and their families receive warm, friendly and considerate assistance at Straub. You will act as a liaison between patients and the professional staff in our Surgery department and assist with a variety of administrative tasks. These include interviewing, registering, admitting, updating and creating patients’ medical records; performing accurate and timely processing of all professional/technical fees generated by department providers; and performing cash handling and collection.
